When Keith and Jeanette Robertson acquired Macquarie Insurance Brokers in 1997 the business had been operating for more than thirty years on the North Shore.
Keith re-branded the business to Macquarie Insurance Brokers Australia, eventually moving to new offices in Bondi Junction.
Since then, Keith and Jeanette have grown the business and the team.

With over 40 years’ experience internationally and locally within the business and personal insurance space and now as a naturalized local Sydneysider, Keith understands the complexities facing SME’s and the corporate sector, particularly surrounding business insurance and management liability. Keith specialises in all aspects of business insurance and advises on the appropriate cover, including the relative newcomer – Cyber.
Keith has a Diploma in Financial Services from the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA), and is a Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker (QPIB). For recreation, Keith is a golfing enthusiast who travels far and wide to play golf on the best courses he can find around the world. He is a member of the Monash Golf Club in Sydney.
Jeanette started her career selling luxury and commercial property in South Africa
Today, and for more than 20 years, Jeanette manages every aspect of the claims process for the clients of Macquarie Insurance Brokers, and specializes in domestic insurance for premium properties, travel, car and landlords insurance.
In between working and spoiling her five young grandchildren, Jeanette is an avid cook, and loves travelling and gardening.
Martin started his career as an analyst for a global telecommunications company after completing a Bachelor of Business Administration at Western Sydney University.
Martin joined Macquarie Insurance Brokers as Account Manager in 2006, specialising in business insurance, management liability and public liability across SME’s and professional services.
Martin is a member of the industry body NIBA. On the days when he is not at work, you will find him at the tennis club ‘Maccabi’ playing his favourite sport – tennis.
Benji completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Commercial Law from Macquarie University, Sydney, in 2011.
That same year, Benji joined Macquarie Insurance Brokers as an Account Manager looking after multiple accounts ranging from small to medium businesses and hospitality, through to construction and property owners.
Benji is a member of the industry body NIBA. In his spare time, Benji is a keen soccer enthusiast and an avid golf player. He is the proud father of an energetic 2 year old who Benji is sure will be a great sportsman.
Sara completed a Bachelor of Accounting at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, in 2012.
In 2015 Sara transitioned into insurance after a successful few years as an accountant.
Being multi-lingual, Sara specializes in helping Mandarin and Cantonese speaking clients with their insurance needs.
Sara is Tier 1 qualified in Insurance and is a member of NIBA.
